Apparently, a researcher in England has determined that your chances of finding your "soul-mate" are 1 in 285,000. Read the brief (and not too serious) article here. That means that all but about 400 lucky couples in America had to settle for someone other than their "perfect match." You can respond to that statistic with melancholy thoughts of sadness OR you can recognize the beautiful power of committing to an imperfect person for life. I'm going with the covenant marriage route. It's pretty sweet.
