Celebration of Marriage

Join us for a Celebration of Marriage this spring!  We have planned a special getaway for you and your spouse that you can tailor to fit your schedule.  On Friday evening, March 12, we will have a dance featuring a live band along with a dessert reception at the beautiful InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead.  On Saturday morning, we will serve a delicious hot breakfast buffet and have a marriage enrichment session led by Barrett and Jenifer Johnson.  You can come to just the dance portion of the event, or you can make it an overnight getaway for you and your spouse. 

The cost to attend the dance and dessert reception only is $50 per couple.  The cost to attend the dance, stay overnight at the InterContinental Buckhead, and enjoy the hot breakfast and marriage enrichment session on Saturday is $175 per couple.  Register online by clicking here.

Family Camp

April 5-9 at the RiverStone Resort in Pigeon Forge, TN

Minister to every member of your family through great food and accommodations, fun programming, meaningful family worship experiences, and even some great training for parents!  Most importantly, there will be plenty of free time for your family to create memories that will last a lifetime.

This year we're heading to the beautiful Smoky Mountains and the beautiful RiverStone Resort.  We've got all sorts of optional family fun available as well--from golf at Gatlinburg Country Club to Ober Gatlinburg and the ever-tasteful Dollywood!

Family Camp will help you reconnect with your family, challenge you spiritually, and expose you and your kids to more fun than should be allowable by law.  Family Camp is targeted at families with newborns through 5th graders, though all are welcome!  For more details and to register online, click here.

The Amazing Road Race

Saturday, May 1

We’re hoping that this will become a HUGE East Cobb tradition! Combining the best elements from shows like the Amazing Race AND the challenges found in a complex treasure hunt, teams will travel all over north Atlanta following cryptic driving directions, taking on physical and mental challenges, and using teamwork skills to complete a three-hour long course. There will be one race division for families with children and one for teams of two to three couples. The race will conclude with a big celebration dinner at the church on Saturday evening. Start talking this up with your friends and be sure to invite somebody to join us!

Marriage Prep Workshop

Marriage Prep is a quarterly workshop designed to help engaged couples to build their marriages on a solid foundation.  We combine relevant teaching with video clips, discussion opportunities and other creative tools that get you thinking about what marriage will truly be like.
