Being a stay-at-home-mom has to be one of the most difficult jobs in all of creation. You serve your guts out for years doing sometimes menial tasks again and again. Ultimately, you don't know if you have been successful in your job until twenty years later when you launch a young adult off on their own.
I came across a beautiful and simple blog post by a young mom currently in the middle of the most mundane years of parenthood. She compared her role to being under "house arrest."
