Everybody has an Opinion. (We would REALLY value yours.)
What if there was a tool that could help "tee up" important conversations with your kids?
We have been dreaming and praying and talking about creating this resource for several years. We are finally ready to tackle it this summer. But we need your help. This brief survey (2 minutes or less) will make sure that we are moving in the right direction.
Here are the details:
When we teach parents our content from "The Talks," the number one request we have is, "Can you talk to my kids about this?" Our answer is always the same: "No!" While we want to remind you that it's YOUR job to help YOUR kids navigate their sexuality, we also know that having those key conversations can be difficult. So we want to help.
We are in the process of developing a series of audio resources for families that you can listen to with your kids. We will introduce specific topics to get you talking. Our plan is to create 6 different CDs with about 10 tracks on each. (Three for guys and three for girls, targeted at three different developmental levels.) Each track will be brief so you can listen in the car on the way to ball practice or on the way home from school.
Here's where we need your help. We want to know specifically what topics you want us to "tee up" for you. We already have a bunch in mind, but we want to make sure we're covering exactly what families need. This brief survey will help us. Please take a few minutes to complete it, and then pass it on to other parents you know. Thanks!!
*NOTE: Our target age groups are tweens (9-11), middle school (12-14), and high school (15+). We are operating on the assumption that the families listening to these resources have already talked about where babies come from. (We will not be talking about the specifics of reproduction, as Family Life already tackled that effectively with their Passport to Purity resource.)
