Getting Little Kids Ready for Big Church
It's back to school time, which means for many of us, it's back to church time. I'm not in any way suggesting that summers are for skipping church, but if your church is like mine, the fall is synonymous with getting back into the discipline of regular attendance in worship.
For many families, peaceful worship can be ruined by the stress of keeping small children in check. Whether your church community offers programming for kids or not, we must all begin to help our kids learn to worship with the family of faith.
Allow me to forward to an excellent blog post from Jen Wilken, a mother of four and a women's Bible study teacher at The Village Church in the Dallas area. Her post, Big Church for Small Kids offers some great insights and tips into managing the transition.
It may be just what you needed before this Sunday morning!
